Brass Monkey, F3, 20+ Seeds

I think this could be the rarest pepper color. I was super lucky to get this result in the second generation with only 3 plants! It’s the orange-peach from Dreamsicle and the chlorophyll retainer gene* from Cappuccino (light red + chlorophyll retainer) Scotch Bonnet. Because both Dreamsicle color and the chlorophyll retainer gene are recessive, and recessive only shows when dominant has been bred out, this color should be locked in for F3 👌 Notes of pistachio and maple syrup…really delightful!

* chlorophyll retainer gene prevents the breakdown of chlorophyll (green) during ripening.

My plants are open-pollenated. I can not guarantee germination nor can I guarantee you will get a similar phenotype. An accidental cross is very possible, and is much more common than seed sellers will usually say. In the case of a cross, I may be interested in purchasing seeds back from you!
