WHY IS SMALL-BATCH BLENDING IMPORTANT?

When I first started blending, before starting Whispering Pines Tea Company, I was creating tea for myself. Each time I would run out, I would blend a few ounces to restock my stash. One day I decided to blend a pound of tea at the same time. By the time I reached the bottom of that batch, I noticed that many of the heavier ingredients had sunk to the bottom and the lighter ingredients had been completely scooped out at that point. The balance that I was striving for had been lost, and the blend was no longer the blend I worked so hard to create. This is why small-batch blending is important.

When I blend your tea, you can be assured that you are getting the exact blend that I intended. There are no inconsistent batches. All teas I sell are blended in 10 ounce or smaller portions, with some such as Golden Orchid never exceeding a 2-ounce batch. When you get a package of Golden Orchid, the tea inside was blended and then put straight into your bag and what you're holding is actually an individual batch, perfectly formulated for your enjoyment.
